# Onici: when matter becomes light
By Herberia
There are surfaces that don’t just cover spaces — they transform them into pure emotion. **Onici** [is the Herberia collection](https://www.herberiaceramiche.it/en/collections/onici-2-2/) that celebrates the timeless beauty of the most precious stones, reinterpreting them through the transparency of light and the depth of matter.
A unique fusion of natural elegance and aesthetic innovation, where each ceramic surface lights up with luminous vibrations, soft reflections and refined details.
Made in **rectified white-body double-firing**, Onici is a tribute to design versatility. Its four main shades — **Pearl, Amber, Emerald and Cobalt** — tell different yet complementary stories, ready to dress contemporary interiors with measured and surprising elegance.
#### **Colours, décors, boiseries: the art of composition**
The strength of Onici lies in its ability to adapt to multiple interior design contexts. Each shade can be combined with the natural tones of the **[Boiserie](https://www.herberiaceramiche.it/en/collections/boiserie-double-fired-white-body-collection-herberia/) Collection** — **Powder, Sky, Sage, Oak** — or enriched with floral décors such as the delicate **Petali**, which transform the wall into a decorative element of its own.
The combinations shown in the catalogue express this creative freedom: bathrooms that change personality with just a few elements, rooms that evolve with the light, colours and choose the refinement of **Amber** with **Powder** boiserie, others prefer the striking contrast of **Cobalt** with ceramic wood, or play with the gentle balance between **Pearl** and the green reflections of **Emerald**.
Onici is designed for those who seek **personalization, chromatic harmony and continuity between floor and wall tiles**, thanks also to the[coordinated](https://www.herberiaceramiche.it/en/collections/0nici-porcelain-stoneware-collection-herberia/)90×90 cm floor version.
#### **Invisible technology, visible beauty**
Behind its refined aesthetic lies advanced technology: **PuraLinea**, Herberia’s exclusive rectification process performed directly on the biscuit before glazing.
The result? **Perfectly squared edges, no chipping, easy and clean installation, and visually minimized joints.**
It’s a technical detail that can’t be seen but makes all the difference in visual perception.
Onici can be installed horizontally or vertically, with half-height or full-height boiserie, following the needs of each project and style. Special elements — **skirting and pencils** — ensure a coherent and precise finish.
#### **Light and Matter as Design Language**
**Onici is more than a ceramic collection.** It is a **creative tool** for architects, interior designers and private clients who wish to interpret the home as an expressive space.
Light becomes matter, and matter becomes light. The surfaces reflect, embrace and modulate, creating **sophisticated, welcoming and contemporary spaces.**
Whether it’s a residential bathroom, a wellness area, a boutique hotel or a contract project, Onici offers refined and versatile solutions that adapt to **interior design trends** while maintaining their unique personality.
#### **Discover onici and let yourself be inspired by light**
With Onici, Herberia reaffirms its commitment to producing **high-quality Italian ceramics**, where craftsmanship, technology and design merge into a complete aesthetic proposal.
